Ubisoft has sent out a tweet teasing the next Watch Dogs game that goes by the name of “Legion.” The title to be unveiled at this E3 has already had its fair share of Internet leaks that coincides with rumors floating about, where Ubisoft’s latest clue “God Save the NPCs” not only falls in line with meme culture but with the leaks too.
It looks like Ubisoft is calling all NPCs front and center. According to Twitter user Wario64, Watch Dogs Legion will take place across the Atlantic ocean away from New York (first game) and California (second game) to a “post-Brexit” dystopian London.

A certain infamous Jason Schreier quickly popped up offering information that links up with Wario64’s tweet, where players will supposedly be able to play as “any NPC in the game.”
With the aforesaid out of the way, the official Watch Dogs Legion account tweeted “God save the NPCs,” which links up quite nicely with rumors circulating around this week:

As of this writing, not much is known about the third installment in the Watch Dogs series. However, June 10th and Jun 11th should fix the vague clues around Watch Dogs Legion’s gameplay and other mechanics at this year’s E3.
The only thing that seems to be somewhat confirmed as of now (regarding gameplay mechanics) is the whole NPC thing where you can apparently play as anyone by finding any NPC and recruiting them.
Website techradar.com details a little bit more on Legion stating:
“you can “play as anyone”, with the player able to take control of all NPCs. “Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated and guided by gameplay systems.””
Anyway, Ubisoft pre-show will have a “special surprise” on June 10th, 2019. Additionally, you can reach the pre-show portal through the given link.
