Aokana Release Hits Nintendo Switch Stretch Goal On Kickstarter

An English physical release of Aokana: Four Rhythms Across The Blue has managed to surpass €80,000 on Kickstarter, with just seven days left as of the writing of this article. That latest stretch goal mark includes a digital release of Aokana: Four Rhythms Across The Blue on the Nintendo Switch.

The news was celebrated with a quick update over on the Kickstarter page, which not only revealed that development would start on a Nintendo Switch version of the game, but also that there would be additional physical merchandise prepared for the next stretch goal, assuming they hit that target.

The merchandise would include a 14-piece Aokana badge-set featuring the female cast of characters for anyone who pledged tier 4 or higher, as well as another tapestry featuring the Nintendo Switch cover, and it will be automatically added to anyone who pledged at tier 6 or higher. And they’ve added additional bonuses to the backerkit, which includes dakimuras, acrylic figures, and the physical release of the original soundtrack.

Aokana - Kickstarter Bedsheet

There are four different dakimura samples that will be made available, featuring the four main heroines in various states of… alluring poses.

The bed sheets are a lot less visually demure compared to the dakimura set. They feature the girls in night gowns with some tantalizing exposure of their lower half.

They also showcase the acrylic figurines and the very safe for work mousepad that will also be made available.

NekoNyan is also working on Aokana EXTRA1, which is a side-story focusing on one of the other characters to expand on her backstory and romance options.

The game originally came out a couple of years ago for the PS4, and the visual novel is currently available on Sony’s system, but soon Nintendo Switch gamers will be able to experience the English version of the popular visual novel.

If you want to help contribute to the release of Aokana on the Switch or if you want to learn more about it, you can do so by visiting the official Kickstarter page. If all goes according to plan you can expect the visual novel to make its way into the hands of backers by December, 2019.
