Although “games-journalist” are still anal wrecked after seeing portions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s single-player live at E3 2019, Activision and Infinity Ward are giving them time to heal by showing off the money-making multiplayer mode on August 1st, 2019.
Despite Dean Takahashi calling for censorship, the fact there will be post-launch microtransactions, and social justice inclusion, it seems that people are still looking forward to 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
In addition to the above, the devs are playing on the hype surrounding the game in that Activision updated blog.activision.com to tease stuff about a new 2v2 Gunfight mode, and the premiere of the game’s multiplayer mode on August 1st.
Firstly, here’s gameplay footage of the upcoming FPS game thanks to YouTuber Choas:
Known for producing Battlefield content, YouTuber LevelCapGaming offers his thoughts on what he got to see of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in a nearly 11-minute long video:
Aside from the first glimpse of the game’s new 2v2 Gunfight mode, the devs also revealed on blog.activision.com the following information:

Activision and Infinity Ward will reveal the multiplayer universe of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with a deep look at gameplay coming to fans at launch.”
Yes, if you want to see gameplay of the multiplayer side of CoD: MW 2019, then you are a month out before said gameplay goes live. I’m sure this will give us a break of “games-journalist” whining until the next slice of the first-person shooter’s single-player hits the public scene.
