Spike Chunsoft annonunced at the 2019 Anime Expo that Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars will be making its debut in the West starting November 5th in the U.S., and November 8th in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and on Steam for PC for $59.99.
The special collector’s edition will run you $99.99 and it comes with the game, a special collector’s box, an official art book, an official two-disc soundtrack, art cards and… a beach towel? Ohhh… a beach towel, for those moments when things get really explosive, and you begin exerting a great deal of indurate intensity and you need a towel to clean up and stay cool.
You can pre-order the collector’s edition over on the NIS America store page, who will be handling shipments of product.
In addition to the release date and pricing, they also dropped a new trailer for Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars.
The trailer reveals the English voice acting, but Gematsu makes it known that the game will launch with both English and Japanese voiceover options, which is an absolute blessing for those of us out there who are true subs-over-dubs purists.
Much like the previous entries in the Conception series, the objective is to get Itsuki Yuge hooked up with one of the 12 maidens so that you can conceive a “Star Child”.
The game features a number of maidens, including some busty hotties, some tomboyish mages, a hot physician, and several flat-chested lolis, which will surely make the lolicons make use of that collector’s edition beach towel as they drip their joy everywhere.
The game will allow you to form parties of up to 13 characters, generate some star children, and battle your way through the evil hordes roaming around stardust labyrinths.
The big question obviously is “how much more did they have to censor this game for the PS4?”
It’s the million dollar question that definitely needs answering. We know about Sony’s censorship policies, we know that games are affected by it and we know that sometimes this carries over into cross-platform releases. Earlier in the year the game’s touch feature was removed, but will there be more?
We don’t know, for now, and we’ll likely have to wait to find out if the Western version of the game will be any different from the Japanese version, or if the Steam version will be any different from the PS4 version.
Nevertheless, you can look for Conception Plus: Maidens of the Twelve Stars to launch on November 5th this fall for PS4 and PC.
