Metal Wolf Chaos XD To “Mech” America Great Again On August 6th, 2019

Last time we reported on Devolver Digital and FromSoftware’s Metal Wolf Chaos XD was last year around this time and how it triggered SJWs over the promotional phrase and hashtag #MechAmericaGreatAgain. Well, the devs over the game are still sticking to their guns and will “mech” America great again across PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 6th, 2019.

The upcoming mecha game was released 15 years ago for the OG Xbox late in 2004, two years after FromSoftware’s other unique game Otogi. Sadly, the latter title will not see the same treatment as Metal Wolf Chaos.

That’s right, Devolver Digital and FromSoftware will give the old mecha game the XD treatment, which will happen early next month.

So now that the decade-plus old game is coming to current-gen consoles and PC, what will change from its original debut? For starters, the publisher and devs teamed up with General Arcade to modernize Metal Wolf Chaos with updates to the game, including better visual fidelity, refined controls, better gameplay, a new save system, and 4K + 16:9 support.

Moreover, both Devolver Digital and FromSoftware released video trailers for Metal Wolf Chaos XD, which are up for your viewing pleasure:

Armed to the teeth across iconic American landscapes like the Brooklyn Bridge, the Grand Canyon, and the front steps of the White House, all of that and more will be present.

Anyway, if you want to save the country in peril as the 47th President (Michael Wilson) and defend the nation against a full-scale rebellion led by Vice-President Richard Hawk and the mechanized legions he commands, then August 6th is the day to remember.

Lastly, the game in question will hit PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. If you want more info on how to “mech” America great again, you can head on over to and
