With that said, this Open Discussion is about video games, comics or movies featuring race-swapped characters. As it stands now, the act of changing established character races in media is clearly present. So with that said, what are your thoughts on this trend that seems to be sweeping around the world of entertainment?

In addition to the above, do you think this trend will die out soon and will become a thing of the past? And if not, how far do you think this act of race-swapping will go moving forward regarding different media that relates to entertainment?
