MXGP 2019 Now Available For PS4, Xbox One, PC

Milestone announced that MXGP 2019 has officially launched for hoem consoles and PC. The game is currently available right now at local retailers and digital e-tailers for $49.99 on PC and $59.99 on Xbox One and PS4.

The racing game features the official Motorcross Championship 2019 season, sporting all the official races, tracks, teams, and sponsorships.

You’ll race through the MX2 championships, or you can put together your own championship and race against other players online.

There’s a single-race mode, along with the Playground, which allows you to train up your skills and free-roam around while testing out your moves on two dirt tracks.

You can check out the official launch trailer for MXGP 2019 below.

As you can see, the game looks pretty much like you would expect it to. Graphically it doesn’t look like much has changed from MXGP 2018.

The big selling point for this outing, however, is the inclusion of the track editor. The editor allows you to build your very own custom tracks and share them online. Much like Super Mario Maker 2, you can upload your tracks online as well as download tracks from other users and increase your rank or challenge other players in competitive multiplayer matches.

The track editor also features different motifs, allowing you to change the setting from deserts to forests to the riviera.

As far as the gameplay and physics are concerned, these games are best played on PC. Not only is the price cheaper but Milestone’s games all play at 60fps on PC, whereas on home consoles they’re relegated to 30fps, which can be a huge drawback for those of you who need that precision-handling and low input latency to master those turns and conquer the competition.

You can grab a digital copy of MXGP 2019 right now from over on the Steam store or you can get a digital or physical copy of the game on Xbox One or PS4.
