Nightwolf’s Ending In Mortal Kombat 11 Teases Female Nightwolf For Mortal Kombat 12
Mortal Kombat 11 - Female Night Wolf

Nightwolf may not be in Mortal Kombat 12. Well, let me rephrase that, his ending in Mortal Kombat 11 teases that the male version of Nightwolf won’t be in Mortal Kombat 12, instead he will be replaced with a female.

Yes, Nightwolf is apparently ripe for genderswapping in Mortal Kombat 12 if his ending in Mortal Kombat 11 is anything to go by.

YouTuber Gamer’s Little Playground posted up the four minute ending of Nightwolf, and it reveals that after he defeats Kronika he becomes the keeper of time, which means he has to give up his duty of protecting Earthrealm as Nightwolf.

As a way to explain how they’re going to gender-swap Nightwolf, they changed the lore so that Nightwolf is no longer his name but rather a title, a mantle that can be worn by any worthy Matokan.

Nightwolf’s ending rounds out with him saying that any worthy Matokan can become Nightwolf and that he enjoyed imagining who would defend them next.

While Nightwolf is giving this speech, the screen zooms out and it’s revealed that the next Nightwolf would be a woman.

Mortal Kombat 11 - Female Night Wolf

Now here’s the big caveat to all of this: We don’t know if NetherRealm Studios will consider Nightwolf’s ending canon or not.

The comment section was definitely lit up with discussion about the topic because this would be yet another moment of NetherRealm using their wokeness to negatively impact Mortal Kombat.

Previously the company went out of its way to cover up all the female characters. Propaganda-enabling Centrists™ yelled and screamed at the top of their digital lungs that there was “no agenda!” and that the art-style simply changed in Mortal Kombat 11.

Well, those ignorant Centrists™ and agenda-promoting fools were proven wrong when not one but two of NetherRealm’s employees admitted that the women being covered up was due to the studio’s ideological agenda. Worse yet is that it came from the executive producer, Ed Boon, who made it known that none of the sexy outfits from Mortal Kombat 9 would make it into Mortal Kombat 11.

The comment section on the YouTube video is awash with debates about the topic because the agenda looks pretty clear based on Nightwolf’s ending: he’s likely going to be gender-swapped for Mortal Kombat 12.

Some people are trying to convince others that this sort of agenda pushing is fine, while others are actively being vocal about not liking it.

There’s basically two debates happening within the community: the first is that we don’t know if Nightwolf’s transition from male to female and passing the mantle on to a female is going to be canon. The second debate is about whether or not Nightwolf should be gender-bent to accommodate a female Nightwolf.

Some people compared it to how Marvel gender-bent Thor to make female Thor, which is what they’re doing for the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder. They also did the same thing with Turok 3 and it killed the series.

Given NetherRealm’s current track record of weakening the men, uglyfing the women, and ramping up the feminist empowerment movement, it’s not hard to believe that the tease in Nightwolf’s ending isn’t just a tease but more like a foretelling of what’s to come.

After NetherRealm got woke with Jax’s degenerate ending, and covering up the women with burkas and hijabs, I absolutely wouldn’t put it past them to make Nightwolf a chick in Mortal Kombat 12. In fact, I wouldn’t put it past them to make Nightwolf an ugly, lesbian chick in Mortal Kombat 12, because that seems to be all the rage these days.
