Open Discussion: August 18th, 2019

If you don’t know, each weekend OAG holds an Open Discussion for you to participant in. This series covers a wide variety of topics, and if you happen to be into movies, conventions, TV shows and, of course, video games, the Open Discussion series covers all of the above and then some.

Every Sunday brings a new Open Discussion, and each time one entry pops up it means that whatever is on your mind can be displayed for the public to see; whether it be related to videos games or other mediums. Furthermore, if you happen to stray off topic and wish to bring something unrelated to the table, you are more than welcome to do so.

Just like any other post on this very site, any comment will be approved and will not face any form of censorship. If you happen to notice a comment of yours has not appeared for others to see, whether it be censored by WordPress or Disqus, send us a message and let us know and we will try to get your comment back.

As for this week’s Open Discussion topic, it is about Gamescom 2019. The annual European games convention is set to kick-off tomorrow with Gamescom Opening Night Live acting as an introductory to the games event. In other words, what are you looking forward to seeing at this year’s edition?

Companies to appear tomorrow night consists of 2K/Private Division, Activision, Bandai Namco, Bungie, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Google Stadia, Koch Media/Deep Silver, Sega, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), THQ Nordic GmbH, Ubisoft, Xbox Game Studios, and a number of independent game studios.

Remember, you don’t have to take part in this week’s Open Discussion, but if you want to elaborate on Gamescom 2019 and the games you are most excited to see, you know what to do in the comment section below.

Instead of featuring music this week, here is Gamescom 2019 Opening Night Live’s lineup of games:
