Atlus released a new trailer for the upcoming Persona 5 Royal, which is due to drop in Japan on October 31st, 2019 for the PS4, and it features a closer look at Kasumi and her leotard, which gives us an ample view of her long legs and bare thighs, as well as a little nod to a classic salt-sprinkling meme.
The showcases more of the new content that gamers can expect to experience in the upcoming re-release of the 2016 JRPG. The trailer goes through the emotional bits, the character profiles, and some of the enemies that players will face off against, but the real meat of the trailer is seeing some of the sexy fan-service that the team has tucked into the game with conspicuous results.
The trailer not only showcases Kasumi’s leotard in action but we also get to see a t-shirt and panties shot in a hotel room.

At the 2:55 mark we get to see some unabashed fan-service the likes of which would make the rhee’ers at ResetEra… well, “rheee” with disdain.
For normal, well-adjusted, full-blooded American men who are not mentally ill, it’s a scene of pure delight.
But the good times don’t end there, there’s a little something-something for the memesters in the form of a throwback to the throwing salt meme at the 2:54 mark.
A small taste of internet culture captured within the confines of interactive entertainment.
Anyway, one of the really good parts about the trailer is that it appears as if Atlus did not listen to ResetEra who begged them to censor Kasumi’s thighs. Instead, they kept her in the leotard, so that’s a highlight… well, at least for the Japanese version.
We still don’t know how the Western version will be affected when it launches in 2020 on the PS4, but hopefully it stays uncensored as well. With Sony’s censorship policies in place, it’s anyone’s guess what does and doesn’t get censored and to what extent.
