Sony looks like it will only have four noteworthy things at its press conference at Tokyo Game Show 2019 unless the full lineup due out later changes that. In the meantime, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Nioh 2, Death Stranding, and Final Fantasy VII Remake are the only hard hitters right now.
According to PlayStation’s official blog site jp.playstation.com, we learn that folks and fans have four things to look forward to from Sony as of this TGS 2019, which is a mighty shame.
Other companies like Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, and other exhibitors have a list of games to show off (even if most of their lineup consists of mobile titles). In this case, the given blog site’s lineup regarding Sony seems rather short.
Playable titles at Sony’s booth include Nioh 2, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Death Stranding is scheduled to have a dedicated theater showing.
As for none noteworthy stuff, Sony’s booth will offer playable demos of forthcoming PSVR games such as Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash, and Marvel’s Iron Man.
According to the blog site, further info concerning the full lineup of titles at the PlayStation booth and stage event are due to pop up later. Additionally, Sony will host a list of stage events throughout TGS 2019, which will feature gameplay presentations of upcoming games by the dev team.
Like clockwork, all of the above is going to be live-streamed.
So what does this all mean? Well, it means that the rest of Sony’s lineup is a mystery (because either it’s lackluster or a surprise) and that folks looking to go hands-on with upcoming titles have Nioh 2, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, Death Stranding may or may not be playable, but it will have a dedicated theater showing.
