The Coma 2, Korean Horror Title Heading To PS4, Switch, Xbox, PC In 2019

Devespresso Games, the makers of Vambrace: Cold Soul, announced that Korean made horror game, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters, will be making an appearance at PAX West ahead of its launch on PC this year.

To help bolster the appeal of the demo that will be on display at the event, they released a new trailer showcasing some of the game’s story, gameplay, and artwork.

You can check out the trailer below.

The game takes place at Sehwa High, where student Mina Park dozes off during class only to wake up and find that the school is no longer what it was supposed to be. Everything has become twisted and distorted to the point where reality no longer resembles the locations that Mina is familiar with.

As she attempts to venture out of the school and find her way home, she’s terrorized by ghastly specters and deadly creatures.

Players will have to acquire items, outrun the monsters, and attempt to find out information from the disturbed locals on how to escape from the nightmare realm.

The gameplay is very similar to many other side-scrolling horror titles, such as Red Candle Games’ Detention, which operated in a similar way.

You’ll have to manage the limited space in your inventory to keep Mina healthy, and run around the map to avoid the creatures of the night.

There’s also perma-damage, so you’ll need to craft items to keep from bleeding out while progressing the story.

You can look to play-test the game at the end of August between August 30th and August 31st on the fourth floor in the main expo hall as part of the Indie Megabooth showcase at PAX West.
