Atelier Dusk Trilogy Announced For Nintendo Switch, Steam, PS4

Koei Tecmo is looking to cash in on some old Atelier games from the previous generation for today’s home consoles and PC. RPG Site is reporting that the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe pack will be made available for PC, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.

As noted in the news piece, the Atelier Dusk Trilogy pack contains Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk DX, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky DX, and Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea DX.

All three games originally came out for the PlayStation 3, and were later re-released for the PlayStation Vita as enhanced “Plus” editions.

You can check out the teaser trailer for the triple pack below to get an idea of what you’ll be receiving.

As mentioned in the trailer, not only will you receive the three base games but you’ll also receive all of the post-release DLC and bonus DLC that came with each game.

Basically if you wanted to catch up on the Atelier series before the release of Atelier Ryza, you can do so with the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Edition.

If you haven’t been nor were you ever a fan of the traditional Atelier series, I don’t know if this triple pack will change your mind, but if it’s reasonably priced then I don’t see how it could be a bad investment, especially for Nintendo Switch owners, since you get the added ability to play the games on the go.

As mentioned by RPG Site, there’s no release date on when the Atelier Dusk Trilogy will be released, but expect Koei Tecmo to drop on September 26th, as detailed over on the official website. By the way, the Atlier Shallie soundtrack is definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already. Hopefully it’s included in the deluxe pack.
