Matt Makes Games’ Celeste managed to find itself thrust back into the spotlight with a major new content update and the final expansion of the game. The update arrived with a new ending featuring a look at the main character’s penchant for gay and trans pride flags, but in order to get there you have to first beat the game. Since no one will want to play through the game normally, there are cheats for that.
The first trainer is available from over on the MegaDev.info page.
The trainer contains the following cheat options:
- +1 red strawberry
- Reset red strawberries to 0
- +10 red strawberries
- +1 golden strawberry
- Reset golden strawberries to 0
- +10 golden strawberry
- +100 red strawberries
- Infinite stamina
- +100 golden strawberry
- Infinite dash
There are two free cheats contained within the trainer, including the ability to reset the strawberries to zero (but that’s only for hardcore users) as well as the ability to add infinite amounts of red strawberries to your inventory.
The other cheats in the trainer will require a membership with Megadev to make use of them, including the ability to infinitely dash or to make use of the invincibility cheat.
There’s a second cheat trainer available from over on Cheat Happens.
The trainer features the following Celeste cheats:
- Force Right
- Force Left
- Force Up
- Force Down
- Float Mode
- Unlimited Jumps
- No Spike Damage
- No Collisions At All
Now this is a premium trainer, it features most of the same kind of options available in the MegaDev trainer, but with the added option of disabling all collisions or utilizing unlimited jumps to avoid all the dangers in the stage.
Unlike other premium trainers from Cheat Happens you don’t need a permanent membership to get a hold of it but you can purchase it individually, if you want (but why? Really… why?).
Finally there’s a cheat table available for the Cheat Engine. You can download the table for free from over on Fearless Revolution.
The table contains the following cheats for Celeste:
- Infinite Dash
- Infinite Stamina
- Fly Mode
- No Death Count
In order to make use of some of the cheats you’ll first have to start a level and then move around, press F12 to re-hook the game and then the cheat should be active. In the case of the no death count, you’ll need to die at least once or save and quit after pausing the game. Press F12 to re-hook the script to the game and then the next time you die the death count will reset back to zero.
But now there’s something more important to talk about… the game is made by Social Justice activists.
The game was suspected of as much back before the game released in early 2018. Gamers, however, were told by Centrists that they were just being paranoid and that there was nothing in the game that related to agitprop. Well, all it took was a Game Award and a final expansion to reveal that the developers included gay and trans Pride flags in the final cutscene of Celeste.
This means that the fears that gamers had all along were verified true about Celeste and Matt Makes Games. Also keep in mind that in the game TowerFall they included an expy of Anita Sarkeesian.
This is basically a heads-up that your dreams of enjoying the game were just dashed. However, maybe you can reflect on this moment while you cheat your way to the credits screen and realize that it’s time to start playing better, more masculine games that will help save Western culture.
