Code Vein Upcoming Demo Update Will Add A New Stage And Character Customization Export

Whether you’re aware or not, Bandai Namco released a playable demo of Code Vein. The demo that is currently available for console players (which includes PS4 and Xbox One) will soon gain an update that brings a new stage and character customization transfer.

Sadly, and as of now, it is unclear when this update will go live, but it’s in the works as we speak. With that said, you can check out the tweets that tease this demo update as seen below:

All in all, people that have the demo on their PS4 or Xbox One will one day have the “Town of Sacrifice” stage unlocked, the multiplayer mode available, and the option to bring character designs from the demo into the full version.

If you don’t have the demo of Code Vein, you can snag this free edition by heading over to the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Store and searching for “Code Vein Trial Edition.” the Xbox One version will take up 8.59GB of space while the PS4 version needs 9GB.

Regarding what console folks have available to explore in this trial version is much, but it consists of an early portion of the story mode. Additionally, the “Ruined City Underground” stage and boss are in this version, and the new content will soon accompany the two.

Moreover, you can level up your character, upgrade your weapons, choose your blood code and Gifts, and dive into the current dungeon. However, the content of this dungeon differs from the dungeon of the same name in the retail version, and the only thing that can be carried over into the full version is your look — that is when the update goes live.

Code Vein is set to release on PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One on September 27th, 2019.
