Final Fantasy VII Remake is gearing up to hit PS4 next year, and as of now, Square Enix is looking to promote the game well ahead of its release date. At Tokyo Game Show 2019, Square Enix shared a nearly three-minute-long video showing off familiar faces, mini-games and more.
Moreover, key staff from the original release are still together to re-tell the “epic story” and bring the familiar “captivating characters” back onscreen. However, multi-parts are still a thing, so whether you are into that stuff or not it’s a part of FFVII Remake.
Anyway, the trailer shown off at this year’s TGS shines light on Shinra’s agents, summons (such as Ifrit and Shiva), mini-games, and even more. I’m sure avid fans will pick out much more from the following trailers as featured below:
The evil Shinra corporation rules the world with an iron fist and continues to spin its web of lies. Have the rebels, known as Avalanche, bitten off more than they can chew?
Get your first look at Shinra’s agents, the Turks; powerful summons, Ifrit and Shiva; and much more in this trailer from Tokyo Game Show 2019.
It’s unclear what else will change in this upcoming iteration, say like the combat or Tifa. Something that is supposed to stay the same is FFVII Remake being a PS4 exclusive next year.
Website videogameschronicle.com reported Square Enix saying the following about the RPG hitting different platforms:
“As previously announced, Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released for the PlayStation 4 on March 3rd 2020. We have no plans for other platforms.”
Well, if FFVII Remake is coming to PC or other platforms, expect it to be many years out if that is even in the equation according to Square’s current stance.
Finally, Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to launch on PS4 on March 3rd, 2020.
