If you didn’t already know, One Angry Gamer’s time on Twitter is coming to an end. We don’t know when the account will be permanently suspended but it’s going to be sooner rather than later. As a contingency, we’ll be focusing on building up the presence of One Angry Gamer on other social media services, one of which includes Telegram.
There are currently two channels for One Angry Gamer on Telegram. The first is the official One Angry Gamer channel, featuring a feed and images from the One Angry Gamer website. You can access that channel at t.me/oneangrygamer/
The second channel is a basic RSS feed of the site’s content, and it has been nourishing Telegram users with content from the site for several months. You can access that channel at t.me/oneangrygamer_feed
The Telegram feed(s) are also available to follow through the official One Angry Gamer Android app.
You can access the app from the Google Play store (for now).
None of this should come as a surprise to visitors given that it was always just a matter of time before Twitter suspended the account. While the current suspension is only for a week, it came about due to a nebulous and undefined violation of Twitter’s terms regarding “abusive behavior”. They didn’t exactly say how the account engaged in abusive behavior or what tweet was in violation of their policies, but they maintain that the account was being abusive.
Basically it means that it’s just a matter of time before they find any reason to permanently ban the account for any made-up reason. This is an expected turn of events if anyone has been paying attention to how Twitter has been rapidly suspending and banning users for the most benign of infractions.
This is all part of the Left’s agenda to whittle down the voices of the opposition, to create a chilling effect on discourse, and control the narrative wholeheartedly leading up to the 2020 elections.
For those of you who haven’t been keeping track, mega-corps like Google have already been caught saying that they are planning on meddling with the elections in order to get the desired results they seek. That means silencing a large portion of voices that could disrupt their propaganda efforts.
