Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC Will Add Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard In November

During the latest Nintendo Direct on September 4th, 2019, Nintendo and SNK had a silly trailer introducing SNK’s most popular fighter, Terry Bogard, as the fourth playable DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch. Terry, from Fatal Fury, is scheduled to make his debut on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in November.

The announcement was made via a hilarious video montage showing the Smash Bros. invitation floating around within the King of Fighters universe, with popular characters like Kyo, Iori, Geese, Andy, Ryo, and others all missing the invitation as it slips through their fingers until it lands on the ground.

Terry picks up the invitation, revealing that the original hero from Fatal Fury and The King of Fighters will get to off face against some of gaming’s strongest characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Fans of the Capcom vs SNK series will be able to redo some of the classic bouts between Terry and Ryu or Terry and Ken.

Brand new battles can also take place between Terry and Cloud or Terry and Richter!

Sadly we don’t get to see Terry’s moves on display, but his model looks fantastic. It looks like they might have moved him over from King of Fighters XV. It makes you wonder if the upcoming fighting game will make its way to the Switch as well?

Terry will be part of the Fighter Pass for $24.99, along with a fifth character that they haven’t revealed just yet. The last character in this particular pack will probably drop in December.

They also announced that there’s going to be another set of characters in development for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as well. They didn’t say how many new characters are coming or whether they will be included in the current pass or if you will have to buy a second pass to access those characters, but I’m sure they’ll drop the details later this year.
