The Last of Us: Part 2 is gearing up to appear at some sort of media event on September 24th, 2019. That’s right, the PS4 game that’s so woke with devs willing to go on a rant about “anti-SJWs” and what constitutes as a “true gamer” will have a presence during the mid-part of this month.
The big meme man himself, Geoff Keighley, announced on Twitter that there is a media event for The Last of Us: Part 2 later in September, which will likely keep people up to date on the game to bring soy and current year talking points.
Anywho, here’s the tweet that Keighley pushed to the wild:

As of this writing, nothing has surfaced as to what will come out of this media event, but expect the typical Social Justice stuff and doubling down on NPC buzz words if the last trailer was any indication on what direction they’re going in with the game.
Speaking of NPC and Social Justice stuff, last year Naughty Dog’s self-proclaimed homosexual staff member and developer, Boon Cotter, posted a series of tweets aimed at “anti-SJWs” after people realized how woke The Last of Us: Part 2’s E3 showing was:
“The most cringeworthy aspect of all this shit is the ridiculous narrative that game developers are all held to ransom by the oppressive choke hold of the “SJW agenda”.
Truth: We actually WANT to make good games, inclusive games, games that disregard your toxic gamerbro bullshit.”
Cotter followed up and had this to say:
“What qualifies me as a gamer? Been playing games since Atari 2600, making them since ‘86. Owned most consoles and maybe 1000 games. Have game tattooes, toys, and expensive art. That count?
If you mean I’m not a homophobic sexist asshole: Yes, by that measure, I’m not a gamer.”
Neil Druckmann — Vice President of Naughty Dog and writer/director — pretty much shares the same sentiment as Cotter, which means get ready when The Last of Us: Part 2 touches down at this media event on September 24th, 2019.
