Weekly Recap Sept 14th: DC Hires Zoe Quinn, Hentai War Ignites, PewDiePie’s ADL Lamentation
Weekly Recap

The lamentation of PewDiePie’s faux-kneel to the biting vice of the Anti-Defamation League’s yoke sent shock waves throughout the entertainment and sociopolitical communities. The rabid gnawing of sharp Social Justice incisors attempting to puncture the soft neck of PewDiePie’s finances almost looked certain when the YouTuber – after having achieved 100 million subscribes – announced what looked like a concession and a $50,000 contribution to the contemptible organization, the ADL. However, whether by ruse or rap, PewDiePie managed to weasel out of the donation much to the appreciation of fans and the disappointment of detractors.

Speaking of disappointments… DC decided to hire Zoe Quinn, even before the body of Holowka felt the icy chill of death course to the very tips of his fingers. The blood of the fallen is still warm on the minds of those touched by the suicide of the indie developer at the hands of unsubstantiated allegations; allegations, mind you, that were spewed like a discordant hymn across the sheet music of social media. Hewing a composition of mental decay and despondency within Holowka, Quinn orchestrated her words like the grim reaper weaving with his scythe a symphony of death, pushing him ever closer to the edge with each new tweet. Holowka, entranced by the allure of Quinn’s melody, succumbed to the symphony’s climax, taking shape as a silver guillotine sitting in the court of public opinion.

Meanwhile, Quinn was rewarded with a comic book deal.

These stories and more in this September 14th, 2019 edition of the Weekly Recap.

The Great Hentai War Ignites

Various hentai sites have come under fire from rogue agents of censorship, forcing the soldiers of salubrious salaciousness to fight back by attempting to put together a class-action lawsuit to find out who the anonymous villain is trying to wage war on hentai. Whether or not they’re successful is a whole other story. Urban Dictionary has become a battleground for censorship, with #GamerGate and Zoe Quinn being caught in the cross-fire of the culture war. Both entries were temporarily removed from the dictionary, but dedicated acolytes of the truth managed to restore #GamerGate to the dictionary, but not Zoe Quin. A remake of Black Christmas is set to hit theaters in October, but the trailer hilariously gives away the movie’s entire story and the plot-twist, all while showing it to be more woke, feminist propaganda. And speaking of movies, Lefties have made a crime-drama called Cuck, and it’s about as cringe-inducing as you would expect.

Control Dies In The U.K.

Sales for Remedy Entertainment’s Control just dropped right off the cliff in the U.K., after just one week of being on the market. Meanwhile in China the mobile release of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius censored. You know what’s not censored, though? Pride flags. That’s right, there are pride flags representing the gay agenda and trans rights in Celeste, just like the hat kid in A Hat In Time. Bayonetta 1 and 2 are coming off the U.K., and Japanese Nintendo eShops, but no reason was given as to why. And Nintendo won a lawsuit that sees four emulation sites being forcibly blocked by major U.K., ISPs for unlawful “circumvention” of a device.

PewDiePie Caves To And Then Rebuffs The ADL

PewDiePie surrendered his freedom to the digital terrorist organization known as the Anti-Defamation League by first saying that he was donating $50,000 to them. He then followed up his announcement with a petty post on Twitter, explaining his reasons why he donated the money to them. However, he later retracted his donation after everyone came down on his weak arse. Speaking of lunacy… Microsoft decided to go through the Chromium codebase and remove all language that they didn’t feel was “inclusive” enough. And on the subject of “inclusivity”, the Lincolnshire Fire Service in London nixed the inclusion of Fireman Sam as a mascot because they claimed that he wasn’t inclusive enough for women and girls. Really. Disney could be pulling out of their FoxtNext deal according to some reports, even though FoxtNext has only made VR and mobile titles. And Hasbro decided to dabble in identity politics with Ms. Monopoly, a board game that tackles mythical subject matter like the gender wage gap.

DC Comics Hires Zoe Quinn While The Blood Of A Dead Man Is Still Fresh On Her Soul

Shortly after Alec Holowka ended his life following unsubstantiated allegations made by Zoe Quinn, DC Comics decided the best thing to do was follow that up by hiring Quinn to pen the comic The Infected: Deathbringer #1. Holowka’s blood is still fresh on the soul of Quinn, and hasn’t even had time to dry within the celestial ether. Capcom’s new Project Resistance is another 4-vs-1 asymmetrical multiplayer game for home consoles and PC. Nintendo decided to sneakily replace the text in Fire Emblem: Three Houses for a side character while also replacing the voice for the main voice actor who portrayed the male protagonist. And Geoff Keighley’s The Game Awards 2019 has an air date of December 12th, 2019.

Nintendo Sues RomUniverse

Nintendo has launched a lawsuit against RomUniverse with potentially up to or more than $1 billion in damages on the line. RomUniverse has responded nonchalantly by shrugging off the lawsuit, but Nintendo of America doesn’t seem to be playing around. In other political news, the U.K’s DCMS committee is urging the parliamentary house to regulate loot boxes with the same sort of laws as standard gambling, due to their gambling-like mechanics. That bit of common sense was undermined by Australia’s politicians seeking to add porn I.D., checks to protect the kiddies, even though the exact same system that the U.K., tried to implement has failed miserably due to the fact that they can’t even get it up and operating correctly. After Control tanked on the U.K., charts it’s starting to look like the game won’t be topping the U.S., charts during its debut month either.
