Drift 19 Will Powerslide On To Early Access Starting November 7th, 2019

Get ready to dust off any old meme that you can pull out regarding Initial D or its soundtrack when Drift 19 arrives on PC via Steam. Polish publisher PlayWay S.A. and developer ECC GAMES S.A. are all about drifting and power-sliding and will bring just that on November 7th, 2019.

For the longest, the Polish devs over the racing game had no release date set for Drift 19 only up until now, which is par for the course when dealing with early announced titles.

Deciding to ship the game in Early Access because the team believes with community support Drift 19 can become “the dream” drifting game on the market, folks only have one month to go before getting behind the steering wheel and drifting to victory.

As for content, Early Access features key mechanics responsible for customizing cars, a realistic drift-oriented driving model, access to car tuning, more than 750 parts affecting the parameters of the car, and an extended paint shop mode.

As for circuits expect to race on Minami and a School and Driftland track joined by over 20 different challenges.

In the weeks following the start of Early Access, the devs will bring more tracks and cars, as well as making adjustments and including your suggestions — but don’t hold your breath on the latter.

Anyway, here’s gameplay footage of tuning and drifting in action, which comes from a 2017 build of Drift 19 courtesy of SteamTrailers:

One of the few new gameplay trailers that Drift 19 has can be seen below by the devs themselves, meaning the video isn’t in English:
