Hatsune Miku Joins Nexon’s Overhit As Playable Character

You don’t hear much about Nexon’s mobile RPG, Overhit, but today the company announced that they teamed up with Crypton Future Media to bring gamers Hatsune Miku, the vocaloid sensation. Miku is currently playable in Overhit, which is now available for iOS and Android devices.

In the update, players will take control over Hatsune Miku V4X, as you utilize her vocal abilities to bring wind-type attacks to her party while you journey through an all new event dungeon themed around the virtual singer.

There’s also a special event bonus taking place between now and November 14th to increase the chance of acquiring Hatsune Miku via gacha, which means you probably shouldn’t play this game if you have an addiction to gacha titles or anime waifus.

In any case, Hatsune Miku brings the dazzling, virtual world of music and J-Pop to Overhit, overwhelming opponents with neon sparkles and cosmic particles, either defeating them with bright lights and burning effects or sensory overload. I really can’t tell but it could be either one.

The character joins a stable of other anime-themed characters that span time and space, with up to 120 collectible heroes, many of whom are voiced by popular anime actors such as Ishikawa Kaito, Uchida Aya, Morikawa Toiyuki, and many others.

The game is themed around players taking on missions and battling against foes across various “console” inspired locations, using traditional turn-based JRPG mechanics to overcome the odds and rack up a few wins along the way.

In addition to the standard battles there are also PvP arena matches, boss raids, and quest adventures.

The game is filled to the brim with waifu bait, ranging from voluptuous and busty, to short and slim, meaning you get the big ‘ole classic anime tiddies and the lolis, too.

You can learn more about Overhitfrom the official website or you can grab a digital copy from the iTunes App Store or the Google Play store.
