Konami Announces New Silent Hill Game, But It’s Not What You Think

Konami knows how to rustle jimmies when it comes to classic titles and attempting to “revive” them. A year back, Konami gave us the abomination that was Metal Gear: Survive, and this year gamers get a Silent Hill game, but it’s something that nobody in their right mind would want.

GameRant has written a piece regarding Konami that sees the company’s latest work using the popular and iconic name that is Silent Hill to make easy revenue.

And I’m sure you know what I mean by easy revenue, right? Well, it’s not by making a solid title to stand the test of times, no, this Silent Hill “game” is instead going to be a notorious pachinko slot machine.

Here’s a quote that GameRant has dug up that Konami spewed pertaining to the upcoming abomination that is nothing more than gambling at its finest:

“Konami’s aim is empowering operators with exceptional entertainment to reach and engage today’s players and beyond. We are actively leveraging a combination of top technology, talent, design, and development to deliver a host of new products at this year’s event, through the immediate years to come.”

If you are wondering what this “event” is, Konami will be showcasing its Silent Hill gambling title at Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas starting on October 15th — which is set to end on October 17th, 2019.

Making sure that normies and centrist™ are fully immersed like flies glued to light, the Silent Hill slot machine — dubbed Silent Hill Escape — features a 4K Ultra HD 49-inch curve display.

I’m not sure why you would want to do this, but if you want to see this pachinko slot machine in person using the Silent Hill moniker to bring in mad shekels to papa Konami, then you can visit booth #1256 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center on October 15th.
