Kadokawa Games’ photo/dating sim, LoveR Kiss, originally released on the PlayStation 4 to wide acclaim from a niche audience. The game is not quite like anything else on the market at the moment, which likely helped fuel its success in the land of the rising sun. Given that Kadokawa likes money, they announced that LoveR Kiss is making its way to the Nintendo Switch, and it might even head West.

According to Nintendo Everything the game will make use of the Switch’s gyroscopic controls to allow gamers to change the camera angles, there will be an all new romance route with the chemistry and biology teacher, Himari Saiki, who is voied by Sakura Tange; and it will include up to 5,000 voiced lines in total.

The announcement for the Switch version was accompanied by a new video featuring the new romance option.

But it gets ever better.

Gamers who can’t speak Japanese but would love to be able to play LoveR Kiss on the Switch might be able to do so in the West if there’s enough support for the game.

Operation Rainfall spotted a tweet in response to a user asking about the Western release of the game on home consoles.

The global press rep for Kadokawa Games responded by saying that they were considering a Western release.

That’s some extra juicy news for Western gamers looking to get their hands on the loli-filled dating sim from Kadokawa. I’m sure ResetEra will have a conniption, the furry-justice sector of Twitter will seizure, and the Kiwifarms Liberals will attempt – and fail – bto fight off a collective aneurysm.

In any case, you can look for LoveR Kiss to arrive in Japan on the Nintendo Switch this winter.
