Our Lovely Escape Launches On Steam With Free R18+ DLC
Our Lovely Escape

Reina Works and Top Hat Studios proudly announced that they managed to bypass the stringent rules of the taste police at Valve and launch Our Lovely Escape on Steam, along with a free R18+ DLC patch.

The game can be purchased for $9.99 from the Steam store, with a 10% off discount during the first week of being on sale.

The best part about it is that you don’t even have to go off-site to get the R18+ content. It’s available for free on the Steam store via the Mature Content link.

Our Lovely Escape – Alexis

The visual novel is about the player-character landing a job at a VN studio working on otome games with three hot chicks.

Your objective is to get the game made, working a normal job, and hoping to find some romance along the way… or is it?

Our Lovely Escape proposes one thing but takes players on a slightly different journey depending on your choices.

There are three different character routes that can lead down branching paths, opening up 15 different endings for players to experience.

There’s an e-mail mini-game, more than 19 different CG sequences, and even animated CGs with the Adults Only content, to give you a few extra reasons to check out all the different routes the game has to offer.

I don’t know how Top Hat managed to get Our Lovely Escape past the censors at Valve and include a free R18+ patch, but they did it. Some truly mad lads. Not everyone has been able to escape the Waifu Holocaust banned game list, like Lilith for example, whose legendary visual novel, Taimanin Asagi,  was banned. This is despite the fact that the VN elevated the H-game standards by leaps and bounds. Valve, however, has no respect or appreciation for cultural achievements or historically artistic landmarks.

If you’re not convinced about the visual novel there’s a free demo you can download from over on the Reine Works itch.io page. Alternatively, if you want the full version of the game you can pick up a copy from Steam.
