Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Trailer Sees Arthur Morgan Lamenting Over Western Civilization

The latest Red Dead Redemption 2 PC trailer not only offers what folks can achieve spec-wise but also shines light on Author Morgan briefly lamenting on Western civilization and how it’s making a “damn mess of things.”

As it stands now, the game is pretty much a year old up until next week. And to celebrate the year-long run, the devs are shipping a PC version this year across the Epic Games Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Stadia, Greenman Gaming, and the Humble Store on November 5th.

In addition to the game’s PC debut, Steam users will gain access to the title that explores the turn of the century come December of the year.

Trailing behind the game’s release date come “technical enhancements” that deliver “deeper immersion.” PC gamers can enjoy increased draw distances, improved shadows and lighting, new grass and fur textures, a host of new content additions for the game’s Story Mode, “4K/60fps,” new details, greater fidelity, and more.

And if you are okay with freeing up 150GB of hard drive space or buying extra space, then you’ll need the following specs to play Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC:

Minimum PC Specs:

  • OS: Windows 7 – Service Pack 1(6.1.7601)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
  • HDD Space: 150GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

For those looking to play the game above minimum specs, the following requirements sit below:

Recommended PC Specs:

  • OS: Windows 10 – April 2018 (v1803)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • Memory: 12GB
  • Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • HDD Space: 150GB
  • Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

With all of that out of the way, you can hear Author Morgan complain about murdering thieves having to get with the times because Western civilization is trying to rid the lawless out of existence, which he thinks is a “damn mess”:

Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now for PS4 and Xbox One. On November 5th, 2019, Epic Games Store and other storefronts will gain access to this title, while the Steam version is coming sometime in December.
