AO Tennis 2 Set To Release On PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch On Jan 9th, 2020

Bigben Interactive and Big Ant Studios are back at it again, this time with a sequel to AO Tennis, aptly named AO Tennis 2. The original game came out back in the spring of 2018 for home consoles and PC, while the newest iteration is set to launch on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch starting January 9th, 2020 next year.

The sporting game is based on the Australia Open series, and it features a narrative-driven career mode for the first time, along with the ability to import and access all of the created content from the original AO International Tennis that gamers made, including characters and courts, totaling more than 20,000 creations.

The trailer gives gamers a quick cursory overview of the new content set to appear in AO Tennis 2, which you can check out below.

The game looks surprisingly good to be a lower-budget sports title thanks to Big Ants’ photogrammetry techniques. Of course, that’s also likely because they aren’t wasting time or money trying to implement virtual casinos into the game and get young kiddies hooked on gambling mechanics at a young age in order to keep them as hocked up on loot boxes like those local crack addicts from Brent who used to hang out at the Albert Terrace place in Stonebridge.

In any case, AO Tennis 2 is coming in hot off a strong launch from last year’s AO International Tennis, which received surprisingly positive marks from actual gamers who put down some coin for the competitive sports title.

It holds a Mostly Positive user review rating over on the Steam store page, which bodes well as a good omen for the sequel, which is due to drop at the early dawn of 2020.

In addition to the returning features from the first game, such as local play, online play, and the motion captured animations, there’s also going to be new and returning talents from the ATP and WTA, as well as all the venues that will be used during the 2020 Australian Open.

Leading up to release they have plans on dropping additional details about the game, including more about the features, playability, online modes and more.
