The UK Interactive Entertainment has released the top ten games for the week ending November 2nd, 2019. The games in the top three happen to be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and FIFA 20.
According to both ukie.org.uk and gamesindustry.biz, Luigi’s Mansion 3 has surpassed The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Super Mario Maker 2 on the market making the game the “fastest-selling” physical Switch title of 2019.
Despite the success that Luigi’s Mansion 3 is reported to have achieved, games industry heads and analysts aren’t expecting the third installment to hold the record for long due to Pokémon Sword and Shield gearing up to hit the digital and physical scene later this month.
Aside from Nintendo related action, Activision and Infinity Ward are still at the top spot of the UKIE chart with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Although the game is reigning supreme over others, it has seen sales down by 49% from its launch week.
And without surprise, EA’s money-making football franchise known as FIFA 20 manages to hang in the top three by bringing what it always brings every single year.
Other games that follow suit happen to be Mario Kart 8: Deluxe, The Outer Worlds, the barely working Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Ring Fit Adventure, Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Grand Theft Auto V, and Medievil:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- FIFA 20
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
- The Outer Worlds
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
- Ring Fit Adventure
- Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
- Grand Theft Auto V
In case you are wondering, one of the many U.S. digital tracking sites known for keeping up with U.S. sales hasn’t updated itself yet. In other words, the NPD Group is still showing entries from last month and won’t change until much later.
So there you have it. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and FIFA 20 are the UKIE’s top three games.
