Starting January 16th, 2020, with the launch of Kandagawa Jet Girls in Japan for the PS4, gamers will be able to get their hands on some day-one DLC featuring a few of the playable characters from Marvelous Entertainment’s Senran Kagura series. A little after the launch you’ll also be able to play as even more of the Senran girls when additional DLC will be made available in February.
Sankaku Complex picked up the news and the screenshots from SiliconEra, where they revealed that gamers would be able to assume the roles of Ikaruga, Yomi, Ryona, Ryobi, Hikage, Homura, Murasaki and Mirai.
Each of the eight playable characters will be paired up to match the gameplay systems of Kadagawa Jet Girls, which sees pairs of buxom hotties teaming up, where one drives the jet ski and the other utilizes a weapon to fire at their opponents.

You can get all eight of the characters when they’re made available if you get the season pass, or you can purchase them piecemeal as they launch.
Ikaruga, Yomi, Ryona, and Ryobi will be made available with the launch of the game on January 16th, 2020 in Japan. Hikage, Homura, Murasaki and Mirai will be available starting in February, 2020.
Asuka and Yumi will also be available as DLC characters but only as exclusive limited edition bonuses via the DX Jet Pack in Japan.
If the game secures a Western release it will likely be setup the same way… although it remains to be seen if the DX Jet Pack will also be available or if it will be restricted to a Japan-only release.
The anime already aired in Japan since back in October, and it’s chock full of fan-service. We’ll see if the game is as ecchi-laden as the anime series, or if the PS4 censorship policies will restrict what Marvelous is able to do with the game.
