Transport Fever 2 Set To Launch On PC December 11th

Good Shepherd Entertainment and Urban Games announced that there’s a sequel to Transport Fever in the works, and it’s set to arrive a lot sooner than you may have been anticipating. The transport simulator is scheduled to make its debut on December 11th, 2019 on PC next month, while the original game, Transport Fever, is currently undergoing an 80% off discount in light of the release date announcement, and the discount will last up until Friday, November 8th.

The game is designed around enabling gamers to access more than 170 years of real-world technology and transportation vehicles that span trains, planes, and automobiles.

Gamers will be able to make use of over 200 different vehicles modeled after real-life transports out of Europe, America and Asia. This includes buses, cars, trains, trucks, ships, airports, boats and harbors.

You can get an idea of what the gameplay is like with the release date trailer below.

Gamers will start back during the industrial revolution and work their way forward in history from coal-powered locomotives to high-speed trains.

The objective of Transport Fever 2 is to provide your digital citizens with an infrastructure to help them get around the city conveniently.

You’ll not only have to deal with mass transits, such as trains, buses, and ferries, but also with roadway transportation, too. This includes being roundabouts, bus routes, and even trollies.

The campaign mode will start from 1850 and have players working their way up through the ages to solve transportation conundrums while building an empire that spans the globe. There are three campaigns to conquer as well as the ability to edit and share maps.

Outside of the campaign mode, there’s also the free-play mode, where you can freely tackle transportation missions or utilize the design tools to create your own mods for the game and share them via the Steam Workshop.

For more information on the game or to add it to your wishlist ahead of the December 11th release, feel free to visit the Steam store page.
