During this year’s E3, Sega announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 would come Westward and to the Xbox family of consoles. As of now, the company has a closed beta sign-up session going on that can be accessed through the Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox One or Windows 10 device.

“Get ready for the ultimate online Free-to-Play experience and go out on missions with a party of up to four players or explore exclusive multiparty areas where up to twelve players can play simultaneously!”

While we wait for more details on the start date for the closed beta, we reported back in June on Phantasy Star Online 2 having a Switch and PS4 Western release, but sadly no ETA has been given by Sega or said companies.
Speaking of Sony and the PS4, it’s unclear how this game will do when going through the usual junction course that game journos have set up for it or if the Western version will face harsh censorship across all platforms.
In the meantime, you can either sign-up and claim a spot for the Xbox closed beta for Phantasy Star Online 2, or you can wait for the official launch that’s set for spring 2020.
