Crowbar Collective’s Black Mesa is on the home stretch of its Early Access run, with the recent Black Mesa: Xen update being made available. Well, for those of you who purchased a copy of the game, but you want to goof around with some cheats, there are a few options available for you.

There are the traditional Source codes that you can try, but whether or not they still work you’ll have to test for yourself.

Open up the console and type in the following:

• SV_Cheats 1 Enables Cheats
• Impulse 101 Gives All Weapons
• God Enables god Mode

Those are the standard Source code cheats that have been around for ages, but again sometimes they don’t always work and I used to have trouble with them depending on the mods installed with Garry’s Mod.

Alternatively, there’s a free trainer you can download from over on WeMod.com.

The trainer comes with the following Black Mesa cheats:

• Unlimited Health
• Unlimited Armor
• Unlimited Ammo
• No Reload

Now originally this was a trainer that was made available over on Mr. Antifun. However, when he partnered up with WeMod he moved over the trainer to WeMod’s app. The reason I bring this up is because the original Mr. Antifun trainer was outdated after some of the updates that occurred throughout 2019. However, it’s unclear if the WeMod version was updated to match compatibility with the latest build of Black Mesa.

There’s one trainer that you don’t have to worry about being outdated and that’s the one you can download from over on MegaDev.info.

The Black Mesa trainer only has four cheats, as listed below:

• Infinite Ammo
• No Reload
• Infinite Armor
• God Mode

On the plus side, the infinite ammo cheat is made available for free. So you can download the trainer and use that to your advantage throughout your play-time with the game.

Unfortunately, the other three options will require a premium membership with Megadev to make use of it.

Another Black Mesa cheat trainer is available from Global Cheats.

I’m not entirely sure how trustworthy they are but a demo version of the trainer can be tested out by downloading it from Mega.nz.

Alternatively, there’s a premium trainer you can grab from over on Cheat Happens.

It comes equipped with the following Black Mesa cheats:

• Infinite Health
• Infinite Suit
• No Reload
• Unlimited Ammo

The good part is that you don’t need a premium membership to acquire the trainer, but it can be purchased individually.

The trainer was also updated to match the most recent version of Black Mesa, so you don’t have to worry about it not working or not being up to date.

It should also go without saying that if you use the trainers while attempting to play online, you will more than likely be VAC banned into oblivion. So remember to always cheat responsibly.
