Ciel Fledge: A Daughter Raising Simulator Is Now Available For Nintendo Switch

Indonesian developer Studio Namaapa and U.K-based publisher PQube announced that the wholesome strategy sim Ciel Fledge: A Daughter Raising Simulator, is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and on Steam for PC.

The game takes place in the year 3716, humanity has relocated to giant cities in the sky after Earth was attacked by an alien force known as GIGANT. Players assume the role of an ARK Administration personnel who has been chosen to look after a mysterious girl who is rescued at one of the ARK stations.

It’s your job to raise the girl as your very own daughter until she reaches adulthood, this includes giving her name, helping her get through the tedium of school, and even developer her hobbies, friends, and work. You can get a glimpse of what the gameplay is like with the launch trailer below.

And yes, the Japanese city pop music is part of the game’s soundtrack.

Obviously Ciel Fledge was inspired by various other games within the slice-of-life sub-genre, but it’s more like an in-depth version of Princess Maker, except you get to participate directly in the activities thanks to the mini-games.

Not only will you get to decide your daughter’s school activities and hobbies, but you’ll also get to dress her, choose the amount of time she spends with friends, and of course save the world.

It’s a simple looking game made on a tight budget, obviously. However, it looks like it could end up being fun for those who enjoy these kind of life-sim titles.

Maybe if it does well enough they can ramp up the art budget, expand some of the features and make it even more in-depth next time?

If you’re interested in picking up a digital copy, you can grab the game for the Switch or for PC for $19.99. During the first week of release it’s marked down by 10% off. For more info feel free to visit the official website.
