It looks like the Dorito Pope known as Geoff Keighley is skipping out on E3 2020, which means that both Sony and Keighley will be absent from this year’s ESA backed games event. Also, new reports have hit the web showing off a leaked list of participating companies to head up this year’s E3.
Firstly, Keighley will not host, participate, produce, or interview anyone at E3 for the first time in his 25 years of backing the annual games event. This information can be found on Keighley’s official Twitter account as seen below:

You can check out the list that is said to be “legit” right here:

- Amazon Game Studios
- Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc.
- Capcom USA
- Epic Games
- Kalypso Media Group
- RDS Industries
- Square Enix
- THQ Nordic
- Ubisoft Entertainment
- UnnamedVR by Paracosma
- Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment
- XSEED Games
Although the above remains unconfirmed or may change when June rolls around, we do know that the company that bent its knee to ResetEra, Limited Run Games, will be holding its very own vendor at the trade show this year.
Here’s the tweet from Limited Run Games announcing that it will appear during the spring games event:
Others might be shunning E3, but we’ll be there!

On the topic of known companies to appear at E3 2020, the green brand will not skip out on the upcoming event according to the following tweet by Phil Spencer:
Our team is hard at work on E3, we look forward to sharing with all who love to play what’s ahead for us. Our artform has consistently been propelled by the cross-section of creativity and technical progress. 2020 is a milestone year in that journey for Team Xbox. #XboxE3 #E32020

Furthermore, the ESA wants to bolster E3’s numbers by earning back your trust this time around. While we wait to see if any of the above happens, E3 2020 registration will start on February 15th, while the actual event will kick-off on June 9th.
