Cygame’s Granblue Fantasy: Versus is gearing up for launch in March in the West but it’s not all rainbows and sunshine. Marvelous Entertainment recently informed their followers that they would not be able to deliver the physical premium editions as promised.
On February 25th, 2020 there was a post from the official Twitter account breaking the bad news to their followers.
We would also like to provide an important product update on our physical Premium Edition of Granblue Fantasy: Versus, which was to be a Marvelous Games Store exclusive, within Europe.
Sadly, due to time constraints and production delays, this edition has now been cancelled. pic.twitter.com/QdF1SIqdaZ

The message comes from the Marvelous Europe PR and community manager, Scott Emsen.
If you’re unable to view the tweet or read the image in the tweet, it states…
“In order to ensure a timely release of Granblue Fantasy: Versus we have made the difficult decision to cancel the physical Premium Edition. The reason for this cancellation is due to ongoing time constraints and production issues with the physical Premium Edition.
“We know that a lot of Granblue Fantasy fans are eager for this physical Premium Edition and, as fans ourselves, it is with deep regret that we will not be able to produce this edition for Europe. We would like to apologise to those affected and we thank you for your continued support with Granblue Fantasy: Versus.”
Granblue Fantasy: Versus has been in the news frequently regarding the censorship of Metera and Zeta, whose default outfits were hidden behind the RPG mode due to Cygames.
We know that the original outfits for both female fighters can be unlocked in the Japanese version of the game, but it still hasn’t been confirmed yet if the original default outfits will be available in the Western release of Granblue Fantasy: Versus when it launches March 3rd.
