A very odd combination of companies have joined together: DXRacer and Nexon. Their purpose was to bring gamers a kawaii chair themed around the MapleStory franchise. The new chair, known as the Pink Bean, is currently available for purchase right now.

The limited edition chair is available for purchase over on the official DXRacer website.

The chair carries a $379.00 price tag, so this is not a chair for those whose wallets are currently on a strenuous diet when it comes to holding cash.

The chair can hold up to 200lbs, and the recommended height is 5’8”.

The polyurethane leather canvases the outer layer of the chair, while high-density mold-shaping foam is what works as the cushioning beneath the leather, allowing your buttocks to fit into the molded shape for best comfort practies.

You can also adjust the lumbar cushion and make use of a modifiable headrest.

Like other DXRacer chairs, there are plastic armrests, and swivel for easy turning. You can also adjust the seat height using the pressure lever beneath chair.

These gaming chairs were never really my favorite.

I find that for the cost of entry the wear and tear from constant movement and adjustments eventually tear at the seat cushion, and the assembly can be a real pain depending on how the backrest recliner is constructed.

To me, if you have a good, comfortable, lightweight office chair it can achieve the same thing without all the hassle.

Of course, office chairs don’t have big kawaii faces on the back rest and come in pink, purple and white liveries.

So obviously if you’re into that sort of thing then the limited edition DXRacer Pink Bean MapleStory chair might be up your alley, especially if you like collecting rare gaming gear.

Also, it might be worth mentioning that MapleStory did undergo some censorship after Kotaku complained about seeing MAGA hats in the game. So keep that in mind, too.
