Pokémon: Home Accrues $2.6 Million In Its First Month

Pokémon: Home went live on February 12th, 2020, and in the following week it managed to pull in 1.3 million downloads. Additionally, one month later, we learn that folks on Switch, iOS, and Android devices downloaded the app more than 2.3 million times.

The last time we reported on Pokémon: Home, the app managed to pull in 1.3 million downloads with the U.S. accounting for 444,000 downloads or about 34% of the total within seven days after its February 12th launch.

The numbers for Japan in that same time frame sits at 299,000, or 23% of all downloads, while the UK holds 74,000 of the total figure, which translates to 5.7%.

As of this week, website gamesindustry.biz reports that since the app’s February 12th launch, Pokémon: Home has been downloaded over 2.3 million times around the world.

Like last time, the U.S. accounts for the largest portion of the graph, with 695,000 or 30.2% of total downloads. In addition, Japan comes in second place with 446,000 or 19.4% of downloads.

Much like before, the UK comes in third, Germany holds fourth place, while France remains in fifth place when it comes to Pokémon: Home downloads:

 

Moreover, the website notes that the most popular subscription option is the one-month premium plan for $2.99, followed by the 12-month plan that runs for $15.99.

Lastly, it is said that revenue has doubled from March 11th to March 12th and has gone up from $22,000 to $44,000 exactly one month after release. The publication site notes this signifies that a notable number of people that subscribed to any monthly plan on the first day continued their subscription for another month.
