Tsukiuta The Animation’s Second Season Postponed To July Due To Coronavirus

Children’s Playground Entertainment announced that Tsukiuta The Animation 2, otherwise known as the second season of Tsukiuta The Animation, has been delayed from April to July.

The news was shared with Westerns via the Anime Intelligence (and) Research Twitter account on March 2nd, 2020 where they informed their followers and fans of the show that it has been delayed.

The tweet links over to the official Tsukiuta website, where there’s a short notice apologizing for the inconvenience, and that due to recent “global issues” they have affected the production, the show will no longer air in April.

The relevant part of the notice states…

“About the April, 2020 broadcast of the animation Tsukiuta The Animation 2, recently due to the recent global dilemma, production has been inconvenienced, and so broadcasting has been postponed.”

They don’t explicitly name the coronavirus, but we’ve reported on a number of anime and events being postponed or delayed due to the virus, including but not limited to Misfit of the Demon King Academy, the theatrical opening for Doraemon: Nobita’s New Dinosaur, the NieR Orchestra, and even the AnimeJapan 2020 event.

I’m not exactly sure why the production committee opted not to name the coronavirus, it could be due to the establishment attempting to downplay the coronavirus in order to reduce the spread of panic, but not taking proper measures back in December, January, and early February due to hazardous misreporting by the mainstream media was the cause for more harm than actually informing people about what’s really going on.

YouTube has also jumped in on attempting to stifle information about the event by demonetizing content creators who even mention coronavirus.

We’re basically entering the phase where the establishment will attempt to silence the actual truth about the virus to the effect that as the contagion spreads fewer and fewer people will be made aware of the real implications behind the spread or why so many industries are being impacted by it.

If this keeps up then humanity won’t go out with an explosive bang, but with an incurable cough.
