Smee and NekoNyan’s Making*Lovers is currently available right now over on the Steam store and the JastUSA store for $29.99. The game also launched with a full R18+ patch containing all of the removed H-scenes from the all-ages version of the visual novel.
If you have the Steam version, you can download the free R18+ patch from over on the NekoNyan website.
It clocks in at around 750MB.
- You’ll need to open your Steam client once it finishes downloading, and then right click on Making*Lovers, click on properties and then go to the “Local Files” tab.
- Click on the “Browse Local Files”.
- Open up the “Archive” folder in the Making*Lovers game directory.
- Copy and paste all of the .arc files from the R18+ patch into the “Archive” folder.
- Boot up the game and you should now have access to all the naughty bits.
A few people ran into trouble with the game with the patch not working and the game not updating.
If this happens then open up the Steam client, click on “Properties” after selecting the game, and then click on the option to check the integrity of the game files. Steam will automatically make sure your version is the most up-to-date version.
Once the file integrity check finishes, reinstall the patch following the instructions above and it should work.
As for the game itself, it’s a little bit different from other romance visual novels because it focuses on the love aspects of a relationship after you meet someone.
It’s about building that connection throughout the relationship, and seeing if that special someone is worth marrying and starting a family with. It’s one of those games promoting a wholesome heterosexual relationship, opposite of all the other degenerate trash we’ve been inundated with where Liberal Progressives are constantly trying to get kids to infect themselves with aids through unprotected anal sex.
Anyway, if you don’t want to support Steam due to their censorship policies and banning anime-style games, you can always pick up a digital copy of the uncensored version of Making*Lovers without requiring the patch from over on the JastUSA.com store page.
The game is still $29.99 but marked down by 10% off the normal price during the first week of availability.
