Save Your Nuts, Multiplayer Party Game Releases April 16th On Xbox One, Switch

French-Canadian developers Triple Scale Games announced that Save Your Nuts, the party game you can play on your couch with up to eight people, will release on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One on April 16th. The game will also graduate from Early Access on Steam in mid-April as well, after spending a year in Steam’s developmental sector.

The game is a throwback to classic couch party games where you have a selection of mini-games to choose from and up to four players can do battle across various arenas with different win conditions.

There’s a total of three different game modes to play and 10 different interactive environments. You’ll have Capture The Nut, which is like a capture the flag mode. There’s a Battle mode, which is similar to the balloon battle modes in Mario Kart, and Thieves.

You can check out the trailer below to get an idea of what the gameplay is like.

You’ll be able to select from a variety of different animals, including cats, dogs, squirrels, possums, and raccoons. You can change their colors and their costumes and accessories, allowing players to modify their character.

The game allows for up to eight players to battle it out either locally or online, which is a nice little feature.

The game is currently available right now on the Steam store in Early Access for $14.99. It will cost the same amount when it launches in full on the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 16th.

There’s a free demo of the game also available on the Steam page if you wanted to give it a go on PC.

Otherwise, you can look for the game to arrive on the Nintendo eShop or the Microsoft Store later in the month.
