Skater XL, Realistic Skateboarding Game Release In July For PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch

Easy Day Studios announced that their realistic skating sim featuring Evan Smith, Brandon Westgate, Tiago Lemos, and Tom Asta will be launching this July for the Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Gamers will be able to grab a digital copy of Skater XL from the respective digital distribution outlets this summer.

In addition to featuring extreme sports stars, gamers will also be able to create their very own skater using a robust character creation process.

You’ll also be able to skate through the LA Convention Center, the Staples Center, and downtown Los Angeles. The cityscape is littered with opportunities to skate the way you want and use just about every single obstacle as an opportunity to showcase your skateboarding skills.

You can get catch a glimpse of what the gameplay is like with the trailer below.

The game originally launched into Early Access on Steam back in December of 2018, giving gamers a small taste of what an indie-made iteration of Skate would be like on PC.

The game will be righteously graduating from Early Access in July, bringing to fruition two full years of development, and a culmination of Easy Day Studios’ dedication to their craft.

Skater XL was never really big in the Let’s Play scene, but nearly everyone who picked up a copy enjoyed it for what it was, and have offered a lot of positive feedback on the game in the user reviews.

If you don’t want to wait for July to get here and would rather pick up a copy while it’s still only $19.99, you can do so by visiting the Steam store page.

Alternatively, if you’re interested in grabbing a copy for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, or Xbox One, you can do so from the Microsoft Store, PlayStation Store, or Nintendo eShop this July.
