The Mox Gang Will Be In Cyberpunk 2077; CD Projekt Red Explains Diversity Rules In New IR Report

CD Projekt Red has teased one of the gangs to be present in Cyberpunk 2077. This gang, The Mox, formed after the death of ex-prostitute Elizabeth “Lizzie” Borden and happens to look out for others “fairly.” Speaking of similar mentality, CD Projekt Red also touches on its “diversity rules” as per its latest investor relations.

Firstly, CD Projekt Red took to Twitter to tease the latest gang to be in the forthcoming game slated for September 17th, 2020, which is The Mox. This gang in question knows their way around the streets, much like the leader knew her way around the bedroom.

Formed a year before the game takes place, which is after the death of the former strip club owner and ex-prostitute, the members of The Mox seek to “protect working girls and guys” from violence and abuse:

On the topic of treating “workers fairly” and “defending them from violent clients,” CD Projekt Red revealed in its latest IR report on cdprojekt.com the following information regarding diversity and discrimination:

“Since 2017 an anti-mobbing and anti-discrimination policy is in force at CD PROJEKT S.A. Enactment of this policy was accompanied by a series of training sessions. The corresponding procedure introduces the concept of “Designated Confidants” who should act as the first point of contact for employees in situation where mobbing or discrimination of team members is suspected. As of 31 December 2019 there were five Designated Confidants at CD PROJEKT S.A. No cases of mobbing or discriminations were identified within the Group in 2019.”

The report continues and makes mention of the Diversity Charter foundation/program, which diversitycharter.org is a project by British diversity advocate Emily Webber:

“The CD PROJEKT S.A. Diversity Policy institutes specific procedures and expresses values which guide us in our daily work. We are, among others, signatories to the Diversity Charter, which obligates CD PROJEKT to observe non-discrimination policies in the workplace, actively foster and promote diversity, and involve team members and business partners in these activities.”

And lastly, the higher-ups at CD Projekt Red, as well as other members, will fight any forms of racism, homophobia, and xenophobia since they “believe” diversity is the foundation of creativity and innovation:

“In line with the Company’s Diversity Policy the Management Board and Supervisory Board of CD PROJEKT S.A., as well as the Company’s key managers, maintain a measure of diversity which stems from the non-discrimination principle espoused by CD PROJEKT.

We combat all forms of racism, homophobia and xenophobia, as we believe tolerance is the foundation of creativity and innovation.”

Again, if you want to read through the full write-up regarding CD Projekt Red’s diversity laws that are currently in place to prevent any form of discrimination, you can head on over to the latest IR report on cdprojekt.com.

With that said, Cyberpunk 2077, the game, is currently set to release worldwide on September 17th, 2020, for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia.
