Halo: Infinite Gameplay Trailer Set To Go Live In July, 2020

Microsoft and 343 Industries are gearing up to show off Halo: Infinite gameplay footage in a new trailer sometime this July. No given date has been issued out by the publisher or developer, but it’s safe to assume that the next trailer will appear during July’s edition of Inside Xbox.

There’s no denying that Halo 5: Guardians was one of the weakest Halo installments in the series. Although some people regard the fifth installation’s multiplayer as being something noteworthy, many gamers and fans did not feel the same way about the game’s campaign.

In addition to the above, that’s not to mention how the dev team altered Cortana to meet current year standards — adding even more reasons to be leery of any future work from Microsoft and 343 Industries.

However, according to the head of Xbox Game Studios, Matt Booty, he wants Halo: Infinite to echo back to its old roots. And in July, we’ll see whether or not if the next game echoes back to the past in a meaningful way.

In the meantime, gamingbolt.com expands on Halo: Infinite’s July gameplay reveal and sourced the following information from Booty during the most recent Inside Xbox episode:

“In the early minutes of the show, head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty came on-screen to re-iterate that Microsoft has another event planned for July that will be focusing almost entirely on games in development at its various first party studios. […] He did mention one game in particular that will be at the show — Halo Infinite. So two years on from its announcement, we will finally get our first real look at its gameplay a couple months from now.”

Moreover, Halo: Infinite is still slated to arrive later this year, given that Microsoft has verified on multiple occasions that the next-gen game remains “on schedule to launch in Holiday 2020.”

Finally, we’ll see what kind of Halo game 343 Industries and crew bring in Q4 2020 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
