XSeed Games announced that Marvelous Entertainment and Honey Parade Games’ Kandagawa Jet Girls will be making its way Westward this summer for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will be rated ‘T’ for Teen, which means it won’t have half as much fan-service or lewd content as the traditional Senran Kagura games.
The announcement came via a tweet from the official XSeed Games Twitter account on May 21st, 2020.
The sport of the future is here: jet racing! 🌊🏁

If you’re leery about the game landing a Teen rating, don’t worry, you’re not alone.
The game is Marvelous Entertainment’s newest IP following in the footsteps of Senran Kagura. However, due to Sony’s censorship policies they had to put Senran Kagura 7even on indefinite hold since fan-service and ecchi content is no longer properly allowed on PlayStation systems if it appeals to straight males.
While Kandagawa Jet Girls does feature some big boobs and jiggle physics, it’s nothing like what was present in Senran Kagura, and due to Sony’s Censorship Officers, features like the “Intimacy” mode had to be removed.
Nevertheless, the core game of Kandagawa Jet Girls centers around picking your team of hot anime waifus, and then customizing their attire and jet bike, while both racing and fighting your way toward the finish line.
The concept of the game is better than its execution, as it would have been a lot better with a two-player local co-op mode, levels that were more structurally challenging like Jet Moto or Riptide GP, and a faster-paced gameplay loop when it comes to the actual racing.
Even still, the full game will feature four player online modes and some Senran Kagura cross-over DLC when it releases this summer.
