Marvelous Entertainment and Honey Parade Games’ Kandagawa Jet Girls could end up appearing in the West as a digital download if recent leaked listings are to be believed coming out of the PlayStation Store.
Gematsu picked up the news from Gamstat, which tracks every new addition to the PlayStation Store. And what, pray tell, was one of those new additions? None other than Marvelous Entertainment’s Kandagawa Jet Girls.
The listings also included entries for the following games:
- BioShock Remastered
- BioShock 2 Remastered
- Castle Pals
- Crysis Remastered
- Jump King
- Koloro
- One Step From Eden
- Rainswept
- Realpolitiks: New Power
- Rune Lord
- Samurai Shodown NeoGeo Collection
- Social Freaks Beta
As pointed out by Gematsu, the remastered BioShock games are currently available as part of the BioShock Collection, but the listings here are for individual purchases of the first two BioShock games as remastered editions.
As for Kandagawa Jet Girls, the game originally released in Japan on January 16th, 2020 and featured some additional Senran Kagura DLC.
The anime that the game is based on is chock full of fan-service, and the game itself has its fair share of boob physics and shapely playable characters.
The game, however, is very toned down compared to previous Senran Kagura outings, all in an effort to keep in line with Sony’s censorship policies.
Whether or not the Western release (assuming it actually happens) is censored more than the Japanese outing remains to be seen.
As for the game itself, it’s a mixture of racing and combat sports. A pair of girls mount up on a jet-ski and attempt to battle other girls throughout arenas where they have to use weapons to blast their opponents off their jet-ski.
The concept is like a combination of JetMoto meets Mad Max on jet-skis, but with buxom young girls piloting the craft and shooting at one another in swimsuits and bikinis. What’s not to love?
