Serious Sam 4 To Release For PC And Stadia Sometime In August 2020

Serious Sam 4 is back, except without “Planet Badass” in its name. According to Devolver Digital and Croteam, the forthcoming first-person shooter will release this year sometime in August for PC via Steam and Stadia.

The fight against Mental’s minions rears its head once again. This means the Headless Kamikaze, Beheaded Rocketeer, Kleer, Scrapjack, Werebull, and Khnum are all back along with new enemies and towering monsters like the Processed, Belcher, Zealot, and more.

Moreover, whether you are by yourself or with friends, you can team up with three other people (to form a team of four) locally or with people around the world via online multiplayer action.

Furthermore, the story campaign features primary missions and side quests that can be modified through difficulty settings for an extra challenge — although the game is said to be really hard at its base setting.

If all of that sounds like fun, new weapons, enemies, and locations will be waiting for you, as seen below:

“Serious Sam 4 reignites the classic FPS series in a high-powered prequel loaded with an explosive arsenal, intergalactic carnage, and perfectly timed one-liners.”

If you want to hear the concept behind Serious Sam 4’s battle system, you can listen to Davor Hunski — Croteam’s chief creative officer — speak on the art of battle:

If you want to meet some of the enemies and learn about how they bring even more heat than The First Encounter, then you’re in luck. The following video covers the above with the help of gameplay designer Davor Tomičić:

Hunski also touches on the weapons in Serious Sam 4, which you can check out right here:

Information on the Legion System is elaborated on by JT — Devolver special ops — and Croteam’s graphics engineer Dean Sekulić. The video in question sits below:

Lastly, Serious Sam 4 will release this year sometime in August for PC via Steam and Stadia. You can learn more about this title by paying croteam.com or the game’s official Steam page a visit.
