Dune Movie Currently Undergoing Reshoots, According To Report

Legendary Entertainment and Denis Villeneuve are currently working on the first part of the forthcoming Dune reboot. The first part has a due date of December 18th, 2020, but it looks like some segments aren’t up to par, given that the team is going back to reshoot multiple scenes.

It’s not unusual for a film crew to reshoot scenes of a movie, but given that we’re dealing with Villeneuve’s woke vision, it could spell out even more disaster.

According to website gamerant.com, despite coronavirus measures, the crew behind the upcoming first part will head back to Budapest, Hungary, to film certain parts all over again.

Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that these aren’t regular reshoots. The website makes mention that these scenes are “key scenes” that will see reshoots:

“Legendary Entertainment is sending Denis Villeneuve and his cast to Budapest, Hungary, so they can re-shoot key scenes for the 2020 adaptation of Dune. Warner Bros has slated a release date for December 18th, 2020, and it looks like the movie is on schedule.”

To offer some perspective, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Solo: A Star Wars Story on multiple occasions faced reshoots. Some of the named movies faced more than others, but what is for certain is that when woke directors have to reshoot a film with an SJW agenda, then expect the usual messy outcome.

On the topic of a woke agenda, we mentioned in a previous report published back on December 30th, 2019, that the upcoming movie gender and race swapped Liet-Kynes to a black woman. Of course, this will likely be one of the many social justice things in the movie that will send sane people up the wall.

Finally, the first part of the Dune movie is due out on December 18th, 2020. No word on the second part’s release has surfaced as of this writing.
