Ghost Of Tsushima Remains At The Top Of The UK Sales Chart For Third Week In A Row

Holding the top spot for three weeks in a row comes Sony and Sucker Punch Productions’ PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima. Whether or not you are a fan of the current year samurai game, know that Destroy All Humans places in the top three on said chart as of the week ending August 1st, 2020.

Tagging along with Ghost of Tsushima and Destroy All Humans comes Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which snags second place. Nevertheless, out of the big bad three games, Grand Theft Auto V is the only one that made the top ten on the UK sales chart, leaving Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and FIFA 20 behind.

As for Sony and Naughty Dog’s controversial title The Last of Us: Part 2, it has dropped from sixth place all the way down to eighth. In other words, normies and centrist™ are either returning the game en masse or buying physical copies of said abomination less each day for it to drop in rank so quickly.

Anyway, you can check out the top ten games on the UK charts as of the week ending August 1st right here:

Last Week This Week Games
1 1 Ghost of Tsushima
2 2 Animal Crossing: New Horizons
New 3 Destroy All Humans
5 4 Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
3 5 F1 2020
4 6 Paper Mario: The Origami King
New 7 Skater XL
6 8 The Last of Us: Part 2
8 9 Grand Theft Auto V
7 10 Minecraft Switch Edition

As always, the first number represents last week’s placement, and the second number serves as this week’s placement while “New” stands for a new entry on the above list. Although it’s not here, “Re-entry” means a title that has returned on the top ten list.

Lastly, if you want to learn more about the rest of the list and see every game, you can visit ukie.org.uk to see all 40 games and their placement for this week.
