Serious Sam 4 ESRB Rating Includes Exposed Harpy Boobs And Butt

Serious Sam 4 came under fan fire due to the Scythian Witch-Harpy not proudly taunting her endowments during the late part of May. Although a dev from Croteam clarified that the Harpy is going to be uncensored in the full version, some fans expressed their concerns regarding the whole situation given the current political climate. With that said, the official rating from the Entertainment Software Association (ESRB) notes that the Harpy will showcase everything and more come September 24th.

Devolver Digital and Croteam are currently working on Serious Sam 4, and despite the game missing its August release, it will drop during the late part of Septemeber, which means fans of the series are one step closer to seeing an uncensored Harpy.

Moreover, whether or not your interest in this game is still alive, upon paying esrb.org a visit, you can read the full description regarding the forthcoming title’s rating right here:

This is a first-person shooter in which players assume the role of Sam “Serious” Stone as he and his squad attempt to save humanity from an alien invasion. Players use pistols, machine guns, shotguns, and explosives to kill mutated humans, monstrous creatures, and a variety of aliens. Large blood-splatter effects accompany combat, and some weapons cause enemies to explode into chunks of flesh. Some enemies are seen blowing themselves up in order to damage players’ character. Combat is highlighted by frequent screams of pain, gunfire, and explosions. During the course of the game, harpy-like enemies are depicted topless and with exposed buttocks. One character references “doing blow,” and the words “f**k” and “a*shole” also appear in the dialogue.

If you can’t tell already that Serious Sam 4 will be rated M, I think the following list will help cement that:

  • Blood and Gore
  • Drug Reference
  • Intense Violence
  • Partial Nudity
  • Strong Language

Anyway, the game itself sees Sam continuing the fight against Mental’s minions once again. This means the Headless Kamikaze, Beheaded Rocketeer, Kleer, Scrapjack, Scythian Witch-Harpy, Werebull, and Khnum are back along with new enemies and monsters like the Processed, Belcher, Zealot, and more.

Lastly, Serious Sam 4 will release on September 24th for PC via Steam and Stadia. More info on this title can be found by hitting up croteam.com or the game’s official Steam.
