Everyone Matters Game Banned From Steam Along With Dev For “Trolling”

Valve infamously allowed the Black Lives Matter non-gaming app on the Steam store back on July 20th, 2020. The game caused a huge stir and even led to numerous account suspensions and community bans. Some of them were overturned and later the game was removed from Steam after the developer admitted he did it to make a political statement. Well, for the game Everyone Matters, Valve wouldn’t even allow it to go live, stating that the game was “trolling” and so was the developer, permanently banning both the game and him from the platform. Bokuten: Why I Became An Angel Unbanned From Steam

On July 29th, 2020 Valve banned the all-ages version of the visual novel Bokuten: Why I Became An Angel from developer Overdrive and publisher MangaGamer. No actual reason was given for the ban initially, but later Valve’s PR rep, Doug Lombardi, explained why it was banned and it was due to some H-scenes still being left in the files of the all-ages version of the game, even though you needed third-party tools to access them.
